Actual observation for physics
I want to work on human subjective experience vs actual observation for physics. phenomena such as motion illusions, the quantum observer effect, and memory distortion. Through photography, I aim to create dual narratives of the same events - one printed on a transparent sheet being held against the other. Or mixed-media collage piece that blends photography with sculptural or textile elements. contrasting what we perceive with what is physically measurable.
This project will reflect on the seen and the actual, the remembered and the real event.

The residency in Abu Dhabi offers combination of space, resources, and intellectual community to advance this inquiry. I am drawn to the residency’s commitment to experimentation and cross-disciplinary dialogue, which aligns with my approach of bridging art, science, and philosophy. Through engagement with fellow artists and exposure to new environments, I aim to expand the scope of this project, exploring both technical possibilities and conceptual depth.
This residency will allow me to deepen my exploration of perception, experiment with innovative photographic techniques, and produce a body of work that challenges the viewer to question the nature of experience and reality itself.
